AMRONE
Who We Are

Alaskan Malamute Rescue of New England, Inc. (AMRONE) is an all-volunteer organization dedicated to finding permanent, loving homes for homeless Alaskan Malamute dogs.

A nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization, Alaskan Malamute Rescue of New England, Inc. is registered with the Commonwealth of Massachusetts as a Public Charity.

AMRONE serves Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, Massachusetts, Connecticut, and Rhode Island. Occasionally, in emergency situations, AMRONE will provide services to dogs outside of our geographical area. Except in unusual emergency situations, we do not place dogs outside of New England. Malamutes are available for adoption from rescue groups throughout the United States and Canada.

Volunteers provide all of our services:

  • fostering dogs
  • transporting dogs
  • telephone screening
  • evaluating dogs
  • home visits
  • computer activities
  • fundraising
  • and many other services

All volunteers do rescue activities in their spare time, in addition to jobs, families, and caring for their own pets. If you are interested in volunteering, please check out our volunteer page.

The costs of rescue (primarily veterinary services), are paid by adoption fees, donations, and fundraising. If you're interested in donating, please check out our donations page.

If you would like to be on our mailing list, send us your name, postal address and email address.
