Sandy 1

A note from Jason, who adopted Sandy in 1997:

Sandy, my best friend and companion for the past 7 wonderful years crossed the Rainbow Bridge on Friday, July 9th, 2004. She was diagnosed with Nasal Adnocarcinoma last December, and although she responded well to medication for many months, it worsened considerably last week and she was just no longer comfortable or enjoying her life - it was clear it was her time. Thankfully she was able to enjoy a last very snowy winter, and a great back yard in which there were many plants and flowers on which to lie for hours on end. Words can't express the love I have or the loss I feel, but I know I'm not alone in having gone through this. The experiences I've had with AMRONE, Mal's in general and with Sandy have marked me for a lifetime.

Sandy's love of life, her pack, her people and whatever mischief she could find will always be in my heart.
