AMRONE
Senior Dogs
If a puppy or an energetic young dog is too much for your lifestyle, you may want to consider a senior rescue malamute. We try not to turn away any dog just because of its age so we usually have older dogs available.

Many old timers are charming, easy going and mild mannered. They still need exercise, a correct diet and regular vet care. Malamutes have been known to live to be 14 or 15!!!

The biggest drawback with a senior dog may be that you have fewer years with this dog (although longevity can't be guaranteed even with a young dog). The positive side is that you give a very needy dog the best years of its life! The standard adoption fee is waived for adopters of senior dogs.
